2025 Jeep Wrangler Release Date

2025 Jeep Wrangler Release Date
The Jeep Wrangler is at the top of every off-road lover's wish list. It was the original American off-road SUV and is the direct descendant of the military Jeep models that helped the Allies win World War II. The 2025 Jeep Wrangler will continue that long tradition with a flourish, bringing back the vaunted 392 V8 engine for the new model year. The newest versions of the Jeep Wrangler are expected to be released in the early part of 2025. In the meantime, here's a preview of what you can expect when the new 2025 Jeep Wrangler arrives at Marmie Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Great Bend, KS.
What's new for 2025?
Good news, Jeep Wrangler fans. The 470-horsepower Wrangler Rubicon 392, which was expected to be retired after the 2024 model year, is coming back strong for 2025. The Wrangler 392 won't have the Mopar® triple loop grille guard or the Mopar® Jeep 83-piece tool kit. Those were specifically for last year's Final Edition model but it's nice to know the 392 HEMI® V8 engine is back for at least one more finale. Other than that, the 2025 version of the Jeep Wrangler remains essentially the same as the 2024 model.

Engines and performance options
For 2025, the Jeep Wrangler gives Larned and Hoisington, KS buyers a choice of four different powertrains. It all starts with a 3.6-liter V6 with 285 horsepower and an acceleration time to 60 mph of 6.9 seconds. Next up is a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that's good for 270 horsepower along with 295 pound-feet of torque. After that is a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine and an electric motor with 375 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque, reaching 60 mph in 6.8 seconds.
The plug-in hybrid model has a battery that requires about two hours to reach a full charge and gives you only about 20 miles of electric-only driving range. At the top of the mountain is a 6.4-liter HEMI® V8 engine that you can count on for 470 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque. The time from zero to 60 mph is an impressive 4.2 seconds.
Go off-roading in the new Jeep Wrangler 392
Jeep wisely kept the 392 cubic-inch HEMI® V8 engine in the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392 to give you a maximum amount of fun when you want to hit the trails. The Wrangler 392 rolls on non-reservoir Fox 2.0 monotube shocks that Ellinwood and Russell, KS Jeep fans will appreciate. It also gets a 1.0-inch lift, stiffened front springs, softened rear springs and rear suspension mounts that have been relocated.

Interior space
The Jeep Wrangler 4xe plug-in hybrid models have somewhat limited cargo space and front legroom in order to leave enough space for the plug-in hybrid drivetrain. The gas-powered Jeep Wrangler gives you 41.2 inches of front legroom and 38.3 inches of rear legroom. Cargo space with the seats up comes in at 31.7 cubic feet and with the seats down it totals 72.4 cubic feet.

Technology
Every Jeep Wrangler comes with a large 12.3-inch touch screen that includes wireless smartphone connectivity and a built-in navigation system with integrated trail maps that come with Jeep's special off-road guide. The Wrangler is equipped with up to seven USB ports and a 150-volt electrical outlet. An optional upgrade in the new Jeep Wrangler is a front-facing camera that can spot obstacles ahead of you. You can also get a nine-speaker audio system designed by Alpine. The most recent refresh of the Wrangler integrates the radio antenna into the windshield to help avoid snagging an external antenna on tree branches.
